Oracle HRMS Programmer Analyst

Responsibility:
Based on the project charter, define the project requirements and gain customer approval
Based on the project Requirements document, create Functional Specifications and gain approval
Based on the Functional Specifications, create Technical Specifications and gain approval
Based on the Technical Specifications create the deliverables
Conduct Unit testing on deliverables and move to QA once all defects removed
Conduct User Acceptance Testing removing all defects
Implement new deliverables into production once all defects removed
Utilize standard document templates and project methodology
Document all deliverables and work
Creation of training material
Training of business and IT resources as needed
Conduct a transfer of knowledge on all changes to the IT Support group based on their processes
Resolve any issues found in production
Mandatory Tasks

Define with SME's the project requirements
Create the Requirements document (approved by the team)
Create Functional Specifications (approved by the team)
Create Technical Specifications (approval by the team)
Maintain the projects' Requirements Matrix document
Creation of all deliverables
Resolve all deliverable defects
Conduct unit testing
Deploy into QA environment all deliverables
Conduct User Acceptance Testing
Deploy into production all deliverables
Support of deliverables once into production
Document all changes/configurations
Creation of training material
Conduct business unit and IT training

Implementation Plan:

Migration of deliverables from development to QA then to production based upon the agreed project plan dates and completion of

approvals for each step

Training Plan:
Document all deliverables and conduct training to the business users and IT Support group.

Maintenance and Support Plan:
Provide support for issues during user acceptance testing and post-production implementation

Duration: 18 Months contract

MANDATORY EXPERIENCE

CANDIDATES NOT MEETING ALL OF THE MANDATORY EXPERIENTIAL REQUIREMENTS BELOW WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION

· Eight (8) years experience supporting IT systems.

· Four (4) years experience with Websphere MQ Series administration including software installation, channel setup, queue maintenance, and overall system trouble-shooting

· Two (2) years experience with Websphere Message Broker administration and support, including installation, configuration, message flow deployments and troubleshooting.

· Three (3) years experience working in UNIX.

· The ability to write procedures and other documentation. A sample of previous work is required.

· Candidate must be able to work well as a team member.

ASSOCIATED SKILL SETS

Candidates must also have three (3) of the preferred skilled sets listed below. Accordingly, candidates not meeting the supporting experiential specifications below will not be considered for the position.

· One (1) year experience developing Message Flows for Websphere Message Broker.

· Three (3) years experience administering Websphere Application Server.

· Knowledge of J2EE.

· Administrative experience with Websphere Portal.

· Knowledge of TCP/IP to assist with troubleshooting MQ problems.

· Experience with server clustering technology (HACMP) in a clustered MB environment.

Additional Information

· The candidate will work both independently and as a member of the Integrated Justice Messaging Team and support Websphere MQ Series and Message Broker on Linux and AIX platforms. The candidate will support both Integrated Justice and DCJS messaging systems. 7 x 24 support is provided by team members being on-call for a week on a rotating basis.

· Responsibilities include:

· Administration, troubleshooting and configuration of MQ Series and Message Broker.

· MQ Series channel and queue configuration, queue manager administration, and testing.

· Understand how the various MQ components interface with both external customers and internal applications.

· Modify Java programs that utilize messaging via MQ.

· Message Broker administration and support. Troubleshooting problems with message flows.

· Support FTP services for IJAB and DCJS.

Candidate must have good communication skills and be able to work both independently and as a project team member. Interaction with other System Administration, Networking and Application Programming staff will also be required.

Comments:

This is a 18 month contract, that could likely be extended

o Work with client SME/administrators to create required service accounts.

o Install development tools in the development environment.

o Install SQL Server with SQL Server Integration Services component activated.

• Analyze the requirements and evaluate high priority interfaces for migration into SSIS for batch processing interfaces.

• Develop a solution design and architecture document that will define common components and interfaces that are required to be built.
