The IS Director is responsible for ensuring delivery of exceptional customer service by directing and coordinating all information services, including telecommunications in a corporate Information Services environment for the Hospital. The IS Director is the primary responsible and accountable liaison between the facility and Corporate Systems Office, and will engage resources as needed to select and implement projects, support growth and expansion of services and escalate departmental and end-user requests for service as needed. Through participation in leadership meetings and in collaboration with Corporate Systems Office, the IS Director will lead the development of the annual IS Operating Plan and related budgets for and participate in the development of the Health Information System. In collaboration with

peers at other hospital facilities, Director, Information Services will also be a key participant in the customer satisfaction survey and service improvement initiatives.

Education, Training and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer technology or related field required; Master's degree in business, healthcare administration, computer technology or related field preferred

• Five (5) to seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in hospital information technology services required with a strong operational background and proven track record of accomplishments in a large, complex healthcare environment

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with all levels to develop plans, report progress on issues and skillfully facilitate problem resolution

• Experience with the Meditech preferred a must.

The ideal candidate will possess JQuery, HTML, Java, Hibernate, ETL, relational database and Spring Framework skills coupled with previous experience directing the technical development of large-scale GUI development initiatives. Looking for an architect who was not just a part of a team but has the ability to decompose and assign task ( experience in this capacity from past assignments ). 50% of the day to day is hands on coding while the other 50% is assigning task.

The candidate MUST have previous experience leading a massive Data Migration effort. Essentially looking for a rock star programmer to lead the effort.

Position Overview

The role requires extensive technology understanding and the ability to architect and employ solutions by addressing complex business goals with technological solutions. Architects will oversee delivery of large, complex, and strategic projects for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities:

- Develop project technology strategy by understanding key client objectives; diagnosing and mapping client requirements; articulating solution risks and barriers; recommending project approaches; preparing time and cost estimates; planning full project life cycle

- Lead development of standards and practices for Java development

- Lead development of Java reference architecture and standards for different application styles including business process management

- Lead and facilitate information gathering sessions to validate business cases, gather and document business and functional objectives

- Implement architecture by building components and custom designs; prototyping; data migration; maintaining technical integrity and consistency; documenting system

- Develop and support verification of Java-based solution delivery, including testing processes, tools, and techniques

- Manage customer relationship by communicating Java architecture standards and frameworks; answering questions; resolving concerns and issues

- Increase organization effectiveness by identifying opportunities to leverage solutions to other engagements

- Enhance overall team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answer technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teach improved processes; mentor team members

Other Responsibilities:

- Expertise in architecture patterns and best practices

- Experience with Spring Framework

- Demonstrated deep knowledge of programming in Java and implementing advanced Java solutions

- Consulting skills such as interviewing stakeholders, conducting architecture reviews, and consensus building

- Knowledge of Data Modeling, Data Integration

- Experience with Agile / Scum software development is a plus

- Strong leadership, multi-tasking and collaboration skills

- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills

- Ability to assess benefit versus risk of implementing technologies

- Ability to think creatively, strategically and act tactically

- Take ownership, self-starter, and drives to completion

Long duration: two (2) years.

This assignment position will be part of a Technical/Development team working on Enterprise Application Integration solutions utilizing the company's BizTalk middleware platform.

Quickly learn the clients BizTalk standards and procedures and apply them when developing the integrations. Many of the integrations will need to leverage BizTalk SAP LOB Adaptors.

Work with functional teams responsible for regression testing to understand and resolve any issues uncovered during testing.

Responsible for documenting their solutions for on-going support purposes.

Key skills required:

Development experience with Microsoft .NET Framework and Visual Studio IDE, using C# as the development language. Minimum 8 years development experience.

When appropriate, the ability\skills to perform a Solutions Architect\Technical Lead role to architect, design and document a solution that can then be handed to other developers on the team.

Knowledge and experience in applying object-oriented design and implementation techniques.

Ability to apply group development standards and work constructively within a development team.

Experience in developing Microsoft BizTalk 2006-2010 solutions. Knowledge of BizTalk 2006-2010 architecture and implementation models.

Experience with developing pipeline components, orchestrations, schemas, and maps. Minimum 4 years BizTalk development experience.

General experience with XML and schemas (DTD, XSD). XML programming (DOM: creating, manipulating, etc).

Experience with WCF and BizTalk WCF custom or LOB adapters a strong plus.

Other Skills/Experience:

Good analytical skills, Self-starter with the ability to work independently / without a lot of direction.

Good written and verbal communication.

Team player. Works well within a team to accomplish common goals and milestones.
