Job Description

§ 8+ years of experience on Software Testing in Finance and Banking domain

§ 5+ years of experiencing automating financial application using QTP

§ Expertise in building enterprise wide QTP automation solution architecture

§ Well versed in creating robust frameworks for financial applications, primarily winforms with third party controls

§ Should have experience in running automation on virtual machines/environments

§ Automate existing functional manual regression/smoke test cases using QTP

§ Build & Execute the smoke/regression test scripts on different environments analyze results and prepare presentable report

§ Knowledge of SQL highly desirable

§ Assess and revise (maintain) existing test scripts based upon test results and/or changes in application

§ Work closely with Manual QA/Development team to understand automation requirements, and provide a strong automation service to various projects

§ Should have exposure to working in Agile methodology of software development

§ Knowledge of Financial (Trade and Risk Management) and Investment Banking applications will be an added advantage

§ Experience in integrating TFS with QTP

§ Ensure that processes and testing documentation meet total quality management and/or other reliability standards

§ Very strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analysis skills

§ Experience with Performance and Load testing tool is a plus

§ Experience with other automation testing tools like Coded UI, Test Complete is highly appreciated

§ Ability to work independently as well as part of a coordinated team

§ Self-motivated, dynamic, organized, and responsible, team player

Responsibilities:
X Complete all Project Life Cycle tasks and documentation for small, medium and complex technical projects related to the WIN application.
X Complete task estimates for assignments. Keep project leader and management informed as estimates change. Complete project plans for the design, development, implementation and rollout for enhancements to the existing warehouse system.
X Perform design, programming, testing and debugging for the Warehouse Inventory Network (WIN) application mainly using ANSI C, E-SQL and the Informix relational database.
X Participate in functional and technical design sessions and provide documentation for the project/team.
X Complete unit testing of all developed code prior to submission to main code base.
X Work closely with Quality Assurance to verify proper system functionality after code deployment.
X Provide occasional testing assistance as required during software release cycle.
X Conform to department standards as related to the Software Development Process and to each phase of development.

REQUIREMENTS:
Extensive C programming experience and experience with RGTI WMS coding

The Business Analyst is responsible for eliciting the business needs of the customer to help determine solutions to complex business problems.
The Business Analyst is responsible for requirements development and requirements management in accordance to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices. The Business Analyst will act as the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams. This particular role will focus on a Project for the Merchandising line of business.
The Business Analyst must have the ability to plan and execute strategic initiatives to take complex projects from vision to reality. The Business Analyst has in-depth knowledge of a line of business and/or is experienced in the industry best practices.
The Business Analyst will participate in the testing phase of the (SDLC) assisting in the development of test plans and test cases for UAT along with a potential to perform test execution for the project.

Essential Job Functions:
Work with the line of business to elicit, analyze and document complex business requirements.
Lead the appropriate teams to elicit and manage business requirements.
Business Analysis core functions:
o Collaborate with other business analysts and project team members assigned to the project
o Lead, elicit, document and conduct analysis on requirements from elicitation meetings with the business
o Perform Meeting Management best practices (agendas, meeting minutes, parking lots, etc.)
o Create Business & Functional Requirements Documentation using the prescribed Kroger templates
o Assist with writing text and graphical Use Cases detailing business and system process flows / data flows
o Write detailed Functional Requirements
o Write detailed Non-Functional Requirements
o Validate Requirements as documented with business
o Manage requirements maintaining traceability and change control
Testing core functions:
o Collaborate with the Testing team on testing planning and test case development
o Collaborate with the Testing team leading UAT with the business
o Collaborate with the Testing team on test results and root cause analysis
Provide feedback to the Project Manager on assumptions, issues and risks providing mitigation solutions as needed.
Communicate timely status on work to the Project Manager
Conduct knowledge transfer to the support teams during the implementation phase
Assist in troubleshooting post implementation issues for large/complex projects
Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
5 or more years experience in business analysis.
Previous experience as a Business Analyst with a Retail Pharmacy client.

Bachelors degree in IS or related equivalent work experience in an Information Systems position or comparable business unit experience.

Assist with developing the SQL Server transition plan for central office (CO) Oracle databases
