Title: SSRS Reporting Consultant
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Duration: 6 months + 6 month extensions
US Citizens only
Job Description:
1. Expert level skill set in SQL Server Reporting Services, with the experience and ability to build feature-rich (dropdowns, drilldowns, transpositions, dynamic queryuing capabilities) and professional style presentation reports. This person would also train other team members to build professional, function-rich reports in SSRS.
2. Experience in building ad-hoc models in SQL Reporting Services. Need to understand the business need, and build ad-hoc models with minimum guidance on the SSRS side of things.
3. Excellent Communication Skills - Need someone who can extract the information needed from the business to build reporting solutions and models. Needs to question the business in the right fashion, guide them towards their needs, and needs to quickly correlate business requirements to the available data in the systems. Needs to be extremely Driven - a go-getter. Can work with minimal guidance, is sharp and has a strong aptitude. Needs to pick things up quickly. Industriousness in this role is a must.
4. Very strong SQL Programming skills, especially in an Oracle environment. Ability to build queries, procedures etc. to convert business needs into reporting and analytic solutions.
5. SQL Server Integration Services: SSIS Experience required - experience required in medium complexity jobs using SSIS. Scheduling and maintaining SSIS jobs. Creating new jobs and assist in supporting existing SSIS processes.
6. Experience with DataStage a plus
Use your analysis and development skills to work with Clinical Services and Access to Data team members to design/develop, program, Care One reporting application. You must be self-directed and creative to deal with some interesting and complex issues. As a key resource to others you must maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
Required
• 5+ years of data analysis and report development experience
• 3+ years reporting tool experience with SSRS
• 3+ years SQL query writing
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to pass a National Agency Check (NAC).
• As a requirement of UHG's contract with the Department of Defense, this position requires U.S. citizenship and a credit check to be run as part of the standard background package.
• Following start of contract assignment, UHS will initiate and administer contractor(s) submission of Department of Defense form SF86 http://www.opm.gov/forms/pdf_fill/sf86.pdf. Contractor must have favorable adjudication following submission of the form or contract assignment will be terminated.
Preferred
• Previous Healthcare Insurance industry experience
• Experience with software development life cycle management (i.e. Business Requirements, Technical Documentation, Quality Assurance)
• Experience with SSIS
• Previous Healthcare Insurance industry experience
• Experience with CareOne
• Claims Reporting Experience
• BA/BS in MIS, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business or a related field
