Title: Mainframe Natural ADABAS Developer

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Duration: 1 6+ Months to 3 Years

Rate: Open (All Inclusive)

 

Job Description

·         Knowledge of mainframe application development methodologies.

·         Knowledge of documenting standards and procedures

·         Knowledge in application testing.

·         Knowledge of ADABAS database structures

·         Working knowledge of Natural Construct.

·         Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.

·         Knowledge of governmental accounting standards

·         Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical staff both orally and in writing.

·         Ability to conduct effective meetings, set agendas and meet goals.

·         Knowledge of risk identification and mitigation strategies.

·         Demonstrated experience with mainframe application development – 5+ year required, 10+ preferred

·         Demonstrated experience with State of Florida financial systems(FLAIR) – 3+ years preferred

·         Demonstrated experience with  MS Word and MS VISIO – 3+years

·         Replacement consultants must have the same skill set as the originally selected candidate and must be approved by DIS

·         Demonstrated experience in Natural 4.0 programming skills.  Both reporting and structured mode experience 5+ year required

·         Demonstrated experience Natural Construct 5.0 experience 5+ year required

·         Knowledge in TSO/ISPF,  DFSORT,

·         Demonstrated experience in ADABAS  5+years required

·         Knowledge in IBM JCL

·         Demonstrated experience with  MS Word and MS VISIO – 3+years

·         Ability to develop program specifications (code, test and implement)

·         Knowledge of risk identification and mitigation strategies.

·         Ability to serve as an on-call programmer
