Title     : Defect Manager

Location : Jacksonville - FL

Duration : 6 Months

 

 

Requirements:

3 to 5 years hands on experience in the defect management process using HP Quality Center and Rational Clearquest.

Strong communication & assertiveness skills and the ability to work with cross functional teams in assigning/prioritizing defects.

Track defects and follow up as needed through the defect resolution and closure process.

Pull defects reports for management reporting, publish metrics as and when

requested/required by management and PMO team.

Strong understanding of SDLC, quality processes, test environments, manage defects through various test cycles.

 

Job Description:

The Defect Triage Manager will:

Run/facilitate/own the daily defect call.

Manage defects across multiple projects within a release cycle.

Delegate tasks and activities to junior team members (ex. run reports, create ad hoc

reports, follow up with partner teams on defect hygiene/open items/issues, etc.).

Assess gaps and make recommendations for process improvement.

Be expected to multi - task and handle pressure in a fast paced environment.
