Role: Senior QA Tester with HIPAA experience
Location: Sunrise, FL (near Fort Lauderdale and Miami)
Length: 1+ year
Required:
Manual Testing
HIPAA and Healthcare industry experience
- Develops test plans and project testing approach. Develops Test Strategy documents.
- Defines and executes test plans and test scripts.
- Alerts the project team on potential impact to test schedule.
- Reviews requirements and specifications and provides input during requirements and specification walkthroughs.
- Facilitates test case design and leads test script walkthroughs. Understands testing to be accomplished.
- Responsible for the project defect management (Defect Status, Root Cause, Triage Meetings).
- Provides consistent and uninterrupted testing service to the organization and minimizes risk of systems down time.
- Adheres to standards and methodologies.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and planning ability. Detailed oriented.
- Ability to multi-task to accomplish workload efficiently. Excellent time management.
- Experience with system development lifecycle. Extensive knowledge of test engineering methodologies.
- Experience with testing concepts, verification and validation techniques, defect management, quantitative methods, risk management and measurement programs.
- Experience with defect tracking, quality principles and testing tools.
- Proficient use of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with Oracle, Distributed applications, QMF, Quality Center
Health/Dental Claim System experience
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 6 years experience in Quality Assurance.
