Hi All,

 

One of my client is looking for Sr. Oracle Pl/Sql Developer position. Location is Carmel, IN. Duration is 3+ months.

 

Position:                      PL/SQL Developer

Location:                     Carmel, IN

Duration:                     3+ months

Rate:                           DOE

 

This position will be responsible for the development of new business applications and the maintenance of existing applications. Projects range in size from small to large-scale.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

Work with Business Analysts, Quality Assurance Analysts, and Database Administrators in the design of custom applications. 
Perform application development, and unit test all work prior to Quality Assurance testing. Provide support during User Acceptance, Integration, System, and Regression testing phases.
Attend design reviews with Business Analysts, Quality Assurance Analyst, other Programmer Analysts, Systems Analysts, and Technical Architect as appropriate.
Conduct code reviews with other Programmer Analysts, Systems Analysts, and Technical Architect as appropriate.
Work with the Project Manager to complete assigned tasks on time, within budget, while maintaining quality. 
Adhere to all development standards, processes, and procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues found in applications. 

Qualifications and Experience Requirements: 

Education:

Bachelor*s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required. 

Experience:

A minimum of five (5) years software development experience and a minimum of three (3) years experience with Oracle forms and/or reports programming required. Experience following a structured development life cycle 

Technology:  

Oracle database 11G,

Oracle PL/SQL,

Oracle Forms 9i,

Oracle Reports 9i

Additional Skills: 
Experience developing in an agile environment
UNIX - general knowledge 
Oracle Applications 
Rational ClearCase 
Rational ClearQuest 
Toad
XML
IBM Websphere MQ
