Position: Configuration Manager
Location: Bentonville, AR
Duration: 6 Months

Rate :$55/hr On C2C

Responsibilities
1. Provide direction to development teams on source code management for AGILE development environment.
2. Create, manage and implement Configuration Management Plan for a team environment where multiple project teams working on the same code base with monthly release cycles.
3. Participate in release coordination and communication to stakeholders
4. Expertise building and monitoring software projects continuously with a CI Tool like AnthillPro/Hudson.
5. Design, implement and maintain a highly automated build and install process
6. Lead the application teams in adopting the best practice of source code management and traceability
7. Establish and maintain change management infrastructure (Subversion)
8. Initial troubleshooting of build failures, coordination of resolution efforts and communication with appropriate team members.
9. Merging, versioning, packaging of applications in preparation of installation.
10. Manage application deployment for complex projects in a clustered, load-balanced, service-oriented environment
11. Establish an automated process for running smoke tests to validate success of installs.
Required Qualifications
1. Strong Experience in managing Software version control for a complex team environment where multiple teams working on the same codebase with shorter release cycles.
2. 7+ years of experience in automation build and release techniques , Source control management utilizing Subversion and other version control systems..
3. Expertise in Apache Ant Continuous Integration tools like Hudson, or AntHillPro
4. Solid understanding of the configuration management processes and related build/relese processes.
5. Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
6. Adept at working with others to develop collaborative solutions Application Server configuration, deployment, and support in a clustered, load balanced environment.
7. Managing and configuring resources such as: JDBC (and driver support), JMS, Message Queues
8. Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, Change and Release Methodologies.
9. Be required to ensure that code is well-organized and labeled
10. Demonstrated experience administering and operating numerous Source Control/SCM tools from each top-tier, middle-tier, and lower-tier such as SVN.
