Requirement:
Role: PL/SQL Developer
Location: Merrimack/NH
Duration - 6 Months
Responsibilities Include:
* Gather and analyze business and technical requirements.
* Provide development, modifications, and performance tuning and support services for assigned projects.
* Develop written packages/procedures using reusable and modular coding.
* Apply industry best practices and methodologies.
* Develop and support data models and a data dictionary that supports the business requirements for tactical and strategic information products.
Key requirements of this resource:
* Expert knowledge of Oracle databases and relational design principles
* Strong relational data modeling experience and exposure to large datasets.
* Strong PL/SQL programming skills required.
* Experience in SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning using explain plan, tkprof, etc*
* UNIX shell scripting experience required (ksh).
* Perl development skills a plus.
* Strong Debugging and problem-solving skills.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively organize and communicate across functional and technical lines are critical.
* Ability to understand business processes.
* Ability to work and deliver on several assignments simultaneously.
