Job title: UNIX (LINUX/SOLARIS) SYSTEMS ADMIN

Duration: 3months + ext

Location: Dayton, OH

Description:

This is a Sr. Admin position. We're not looking for architects, but very strong systems admins.

Must-haves:

5 - 7 years of system administration experience Strong experience with LINUX (RHEL 4/5) and SOLARIS 10, LVM, VERITAS

Must know the commands for both Linux and Solaris Troubleshooting, debugging Unix or Linux servers Great communication skills as they will be

working in a team environment

5 - 7 years of enterprise level experience

Plusses :

Redhat 5

Solaris 10

Any certifications or degrees

Day-to-Day :

Unix or Linux boxes will be transported by a separate team

As Unix or Linux boxes arrive to new location, the techs will be required to reconnect boxes, troubleshoot, debug, and re IP the boxes as needed.

Experience building Unix or Linux boxes from scratch is a must have as there may be times where the techs need to rebuild a box from scratch.
