Job Description:
The Hyperion Analyst will be responsible for supporting the administration of the Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) consolidation system as well as its supplemental products including BI+ Financial Reports, Web Analysis, and Financial Data Quality Management. This position will be the primary point of contact with Hyperion users and the Corporate Consolidations Group (CCG). The HFM application is used to produce the worldwide and regional financial consolidations for internal and external reporting and forecasting with a user community of over 450 associates
Primary Responsibilities: The Hyperion Analyst will be required to create Metadata and maintain Rules application maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for supporting HFM and related processes and reporting functions from a systems perspective. In addition, the candidate will also provide technical support to users. The candidate will provide technical leadership for projects affecting HFM. This position is also expected to implement improvements around the consolidation process to optimize efficiency.
Skills/Education Required: Knowledge of HFM System 9 or Fusion 11; The ability to translate functional requirements into system design/build and Reports. Aptitude for financial systems; Ability to multi-task; Basic understanding of financial consolidations and reporting processes; Ability to identify issues and address them.
Thorough knowledge of MS Excel. Familiarity with Visual Basic and HFM Rules development, a plus; Familiarity with SAP; Working knowledge of MS Access; Familiarity with other Performance Management application/tools such as SAP BPC a plus;
Bachelors in Accounting or MIS preferred
Work Experience: Preferred
Over 3 years of technical or functional Hyperion experience, including consolidation processes, is a must.
Experience in Oracle BI+ Financial Reports, Web Analysis, Smartview, and FDM.
