Position: Sr. .Net Architect/Developer with complex DB query experience

Location: Stamford, CT

Job Description:

This candidate will architect/design, document and develop a system to pull security entitlement data feeds from various applications and post to XML format for pickup by internal entitlements review application. This will require strong architecture/design capabilities as well as documentation and development skills.

Candidate also required to design and develop a system to store key data (users, hardware, etc.) that will be used to match up with other existing systems data and extract and generate reports on key data elements only (a subset of larger data). These reports will require automation for eventual BAU execution on a monthly basis.

Candidate should have the ability to pick up the maintenance of existing systems and working with previous developer*s code.

 

Technology Requirements:

* Design experience a must

* DB: MS SQL, Sybase, Oracle (Complex DB query experience a must)

* OS: Unix/Linux/Solaris/Windows

* Languages: T-SQL, VBS, VB.NET, C#

* Scripting: Unix Shell, Perl

* Other: MS Sharepoint development experience a plus

 

Business/Analytical Knowledge:

This position predominantly requires the ability to design a system (DB and code) that will extract and report on data contained in other systems as well as to study, learn and maintain an existing system owned by Information Security. A preexisting knowledge of Information Security and associated data is not required, but helpful.

 

Personal Attributes: (optional)

Candidate must be a self starter and independent worker. Ability to design according to requirements and advise management is imperative, as this person will be working as the only developer on this project. Must be able to work with people (i.e. in a team) and must be able to meet deadlines/due dates mutually agreed upon.
