C++ Developer

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Duration: 13 Months

 

Technical Skill Required:
1. Strong PERL CGI development skill with minimum of 7 years experience
2. Strong backend application integration skills using Web Service framework (requires solid understanding of Web Service technology/standards -i..e SOAP, WSDL, XML Schema & etc).
3. Solid Unix Background with Shell script development skill (Korn and/or Bash)
4. Solid understanding of at least one mainstream web server (Preferably with Apache)
5. Solid RDMBS development experience (Preferably with MySQL)

 

Responsibilities:
1. Interfaces with internal project teams to analyze requirements and provide recommendations on complex technical tasks in the PERL CGI portion of the application.
2. Independently performs analysis to develop and implement high level designs for assigned projects.
3. Develops moderate-to advanced modules and system components and develops simple to moderately complex re-usable code.
4. Provides input about team members' performance and technical abilities. Mentors and coaches team members.
5. Remains current on industry standards and advances within area of expertise.
6. Diagnoses complex system problems using debugging tools or other diagnostic aids.
7. Diagnoses system performance problems using available standard performance tools and system indicators such as queue lengths, CPU utilization, etc. Recommends and performs changes in system parameters or code to obtain optimum system performance.
8. Participates in design, code and test reviews.
9. Finds and recommends opportunities for continuous improvement.
10. Other duties as assigned|

 

Nice to Have Technical Skill:
Java development experience
Solid Understanding of Solaris 8 & 10 Environment
