The Sr. System Validation Software Engineer will develop test programs for Linux S/W Driver Validation for use during the Product DVT phases of important new high performance enterprise storage H/W running within Linux Servers.
Responsibilities include:
Porting existing Windows product test programs to run under Linux for use in testing Linux drivers
Working with various developers to understand product test requirements including software/firmware flow
Working with test team to understand existing test systems and capabilities
Accurate and complete documentation of test Software developed
Training / mentoring of various test team members on Test Software operation and system flows
Identification and documentation of test coverage provided by Linux Driver Test Software
As required, working with development and test teams to analyze, debug and resolve complex system-related issues during the DVT

Education Requirements:
BS EE, MS EE preferred.
Desired Skills/Experience:
proficiency in Software development in C, C++, C#, and S/W that runs under Linux
expertise in developing Linux S/W that communicates both at a system level through Storage drivers and at a SCSI Pass-through level to

Minimum of 10 years storage systems or storage product development or equivalent experience
Expertise in storage technologies, storage systems, storage interfaces, and storage devices
Demonstrated experience in working successfully with senior hardware and software/firmware developers
