Technical/Functional Skills

 

• The selected candidate must have expertise in data warehouse full life cycle approaches and concepts using DW best practices and procedures.
• He/she must be proficient using the DataStage ETL tool and in addition have technical expertise with Unix scripting and various Oracle tools (SQL, SQL*Loader, etc.).
• Expertise with DataStage, QualityStage.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

 

• Participate in a project team to design, develop and support new Data Warehouse datastores
• Analyze business requirements, developing target-source data mappings and delivering ETL processes for end-user OLAP and reporting initiatives
• Set-up and maintain load processes for Data Warehouse development, test, and modal environments
• Manage the developing control processes for the migration of code through Development, Test, and Production environments
• Designing/developing processes to automate, streamline, and monitor Data Warehouse load processes

·         Administer and support  DataStage system software on a Unix platform
