Java server side developer with My SQL database
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Duration: Long term
Need a Java server side developer who also has very strong My SQL database skills to do triggers, stored procedures, joins and so on. So it's a bit of a combo position. Please forward candidates who also have strong My SQL skills. Local candidates in Bay area or California best, but will consider candidates who meet both required skill areas and can relocate.
Position objectives are:
• Develop highly scalable Cloud Middleware and Automation platform that interfaces with different subsystems.
• Design and develop functions to automate compute, network and storage components in a virtualized infrastructure.
• Work with various internal and external teams on defining a set of standard APIs for each application subsystem.
• Translate functional requirements into technical and API specifications.
• Develop programming interfaces for each API.
• Create development environment for efficient testing and integration.
• Provide support to production systems.
• 1+ years experience developing complex enterprise solutions
• Strong Experience in object oriented design and development skills in Java programming.
• Strong Experience in J2EE frameworks including Spring, Hibernate, DAO, EJB, JMS, MVC.
• Experience in data modeling, SQL development and performance tuning using Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, with large data experience a plus.
• Strong Experience in producing and automating reusable scripts and programs (PL/SQL, Java Script, Unix shell, PERL, etc.).
• Development experience in a Unix/Linux and Windows environment.
• Must be a team player, flexible, self-motivated and analytical with excellent communications skills, both oral and written.
