Key For This position : Hand on experience with EPIC/Clarity specifically with the Compass and Console. 

This role is to manage the technical side of the Clarity extract and load process.  This person is closely involved with the installation of Clarity (Hyperspace and Console). Other tasks include monitoring daily extract and load process e-mails, checking audit reports such as TDL statistics, and communicating regularly with your Epic Clarity technical contacts. They should have a secure knowledge of KB-SQL, Chronicle's Batch Scheduler, Unix/NT, Hyperspace and Clarity database configuration. 

Specific tasks include:

•          Scheduling the Clarity extracts using the Batch Scheduler  (daily, weekly and as needed)

•          Build and modify  extracts using KB-SQL  (as needed)

•          Build, modify and schedule executions using the Clarity console (as needed)

•          Managing simple ftp processes and OS commands that are specific to Clarity (daily)

•          Configuring the Clarity extract process maintaining the set up information in Hyperspace, ENV files and Epic Comm connections  (daily and as needed)

•          Maintain build settings (Journal, Delayed, TBT and RBT)  (weekly)

•          Writing simple database commands to add columns, tables, and indexes (as needed)

•          Create, add or modify Epic release and custom tables (per request or during upgrades)

•          Remove custom table from database schema  (Monthly)

•          Import data into custom tables  (daily, weekly)

•          Reloads data in table after clean-up in EPIC cache  (per RA)

•          Facilitate monthly Clarity team agenda, call and minutes  (monthly)

•          Monitor process performance, communicate issues to DBA  (daily)

•          Modify configurations (transaction log space, database space, etc.) (DBA)

•          Address and research data and schema questions and Epic item activation requests  (per request)

•          Monitor error logs      (daily)

•          Manages and monitors all change controls that have down stream affects to Clarity  (per request)

•          Schedule and load dev/qa environment for EPIC upgrades  (as needed)

•          Set up tables and columns  in Hyperspace  (per request, as needed and during upgrades)

•          Adding delete and update code for incremental tables  (as needed, per request and as maintenance)
