Position: SAP SD Consultant - Steel Industry experience

Location : Chicago, IL

Start : Jan 2012

Duration :4 to 5 months

 

Essential

• Implementation/Support experience of multi-company/multi-site  reporting and related configuration variances in US

• In depth experience of conducting and/or participating in all Order-to-Cash(SD) process definition related activities

• Configuration experience in all of the following:

o Order to Cash - (Priority of Need – items 1 through 8 mandatory and necessary)

1. Sales Document Processing in a MTS, MTO and ETO environment

• Sales Order

• Quotation

2. Available to Promise (ATP)

3. Delivery Processing

4. Pricing

5. US Sales and Use Tax (Taxware or Vertex) – Training acceptable

6. Account Determination

7. Billing

8. Credit Management

• Demonstrably knowledgeable of integration between SD and FI, MM, PP and APO GATP (Global Available to Promise) in a process manufacturing environment

• Extremely strong Senior Consultant experience as SD Lead or Senior Team member

• Constructed and led Blueprint Workshops

o Process Evaluation and SAP Process Definition

o Efficient mapping to and application of SAP Best Practices

o Fit/Gap Analysis

o RICEF Definition

o Master Data(customer and material) definition and requirements

• Experienced with Catalyst, FocusASAP and Global ASAP Methodologies including related accelerators (Process Flows, Process Maps and Business Process Procedures(BPPs) Ideal

• Steel manufacturing industry SAP SD implementations (min. 3 implementations)

• Variant Configurator (VC)

• Experience of using SAP in a sales/marketing global multi-entity steel manufacturing organization (Industry Experience)

• Experience with SAP All-In-One Industry Solutions, specifically with Mill Products
