Job title: Sr. Citrix Administrator with strong Windows

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: 6 months

 

Sr. Level Citrix Administrator with strong Windows knowledge - minimum 5 years experience in Citrix.

MAJOR AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION: Citrix XenApp 4.5-6 Administration of all infrastructure components, Other Citrix Product Admin (XenDesktop and Server/SSO), Advanced Windows 2003-2008 Administration

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Citrix Server Admin in an enterprise environment, Application Installs/Deployments, Communicating Plans/Coordination with Site/Client Leadership.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
• 5+ years of Advanced Windows Administration
• 5+ years of Citrix XenApp, 4.5, 5.0, and 6.0 Experience
• 4+ years of Advanced config/design of Citrix XenServer and/or VMWare ESX
• Ability to work under pressure to resolve issues and complete deployments
• Detailed knowledge of Citrix installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting
• Extensive Windows 2003-2008 servers installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting
• Hardware and Software Troubleshooting Skills
• In-Depth Knowledge of Registry and ability to use tools to troubleshoot and manipulate
• Detailed Knowledge of PNAgent, Receiver, Full PN Client, CAG/SAG, Web Interface and ability to troubleshoot
• Proactive attitude looking for ways to improve existing production systems and ability to spot potentially critical problems before impact to the user environment
• Proficiency in analyzing problem situations and determining solutions independently and as part of a large group
• Ability to see the larger environment and the implications of each component in the system
• Basic Windows Load Balancing and Clustering Knowledge
• Basic VBScript, WMI, and DOS/WSH Scripting knowledge
• Basic IIS Experience
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, traffic flows, firewalls, routing, and the implications on a Citrix environment
