Sr. Network Engineer
LOCATION: Alpharetta, GA OR Sunnyvale, CA
LENGTH: 6 + month contract (with extension)
This Tier 3/Tier 4 Sr. Network Engineer must have a high level of architect/design experience and have the ability to troubleshoot and support in a network data center environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Network certification required (i.e. CCNP, CCIE, etc)
- HEAVY/EXTENSIVE Troubleshooting experience
- Router/Switch configuration and support
- Routing & Switch
- Cisco 6500 Route Switch guru, Juniper SRX 5600, Cisco 3120G blades, HP ProCurve, Catalyst 4506, Nexus 5020
- Firewalls: Netscreen firewalls
- Understanding of BGP and OSI model
- Knowledge of shell scripting
- Load Balancers: F5 Viprion load balancers
- VPN; IPSEC
The shifts are most likely but aren't guaranteed to be: GA from 10a-6p and CA from 3p-11p, with possible OT. There is light travel required (once or twice every couple of months) with expenses covered by the client.
