Services to be provided:

 

This position will provide technical support in the installation, upgrade and maintenance of IBM Information Server products on a Sun Slaris Operating System; as well as functioning as an enterprise administrator over this toolset for the client and interfaces between the client and other cross-boundary partners.  The position requires highly analytical and technical use of specialized software. This position serves also to provide input into enterprise decisions and infrastructure in support of the ETL service.  This position also serves as subject matter expert for utilization, implementation and expansion of ETL services throughout the enterprise including external state partners.  Additionally, this staff person provides technical advice, support, and expertise on the enterprise-wide implementation of data governance processes, master-data management processes, and meta-data management processes.  In this role, this staff person researches best practices and technical tools and assists in developing implementation and adoption strategies that impact all state agencies and partners.

 

 The services must begin on January 3, 2012.  

 

CANDIDATES WILL BE EVALUATED ON THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

*         7+ Years ETL Administration or Architecture Experience

*         5+ IBM QualityStage / DataStage Experience

*         7+ Years of ETL job development

*         7+ yrs system administration in UNIX Environment experience

*         Mentoring or Training Co-workers

*        Demonstrated ability to communicate with both technical and business area staff
