Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: 6+ month contract

The Application Developer/System Analyst will be on site with business partners, responsible to ascertain business needs, analyze existing end-user-developed applications, design new solutions, code new solutions, documentation, support testing and implementation. To support the rapid development needs, a set of design patterns (include code and document templates) will be used. Additional work may be required to create new design patterns and templates based on new business requirements.

Must Have's:

Demonstrated ability to independently research, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tools, utilities, programming languages. 7+ years of experience developing solutions in the Windows desktop environment with solid understanding of the Windows architecture, experience with common Windows utilities, experience with multiple Windows scripting tools and languages. 7+ years of experience with .NET / C#. 4+ years of experience with J2EE (preferred) and related technologies / tools, including Weblogic, JBoss, and Eclipse 7+ years of experience in application integration using variety of platforms, products, and protocols. 7+ years of experience in full life cycle development including requirement analysis, system design, code implementation, unit testing, system integration and production support Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Oracle, XML, XML Schema, XSL. Also 5+ years of system analysis and documentation.

Preferred but not required:

Microsoft Access/ Excel VBA programming
Sharepoint
Business Objects
Autosys
