Business Analyst 2 PPLSFT - 9737

 

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Job Description: Plans, conducts, and directs the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems and applications. Partners with users to identify, evaluate, and develop systems and procedures which are cost effective and meet user requirements. May plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business, systems, or application issues.

 

Education: 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.

 

Experience: 4+ years experience in business analysis, requirements definition, building systems solutions and deployment of business requirements to information systems.

 

Skills and Knowledge: Working knowledge of building system solutions or business applications. Collaborative, customer-focused and able to create visible value.

 

Specific Requirements

4-6 Years on PeopleSoft Financials

Experience working with PeopleSoft 8.8 Financials

This position will generally support Projects and Contract. Experience with those modules required.

Experience with T&E, AP, PO, AR, AM, GL, BI a plus but not required.

Primary doing production support activities - all levels of support from resetting passwords to general inquiry questions to researching program errors.

Must respond to customer support calls within designated SLA.

Some development activities - developing new functionality per user requests.

Must have good customer service attitude.

Must be a team player to work with other on site analysts, programmers, DBAs.

40 hours

1-2 late night coverage during month end close
