Job Description

 

 

Under limited supervision, performs a variety of semi-routine tasks to ensure production quality standards are met. Performs the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Performs hand set-ups for digital tests. Recognizes failures and set-up problems, and determines need for appropriate verification. Operates programmable auto-testers, samplers, real-time oscilloscopes, pulse generators, meters, power supplies, and special test fixtures. May prepare written reports. Performance of tasks requires use of judgment and technical training. Typically requires a college degree or technical education and 1 to 3 years related experience.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.

• 3+ years experience in planning, creation, execution and analysis of functional & performance tests

• 3+ years experience in performing UI, API and Device Certification in a data driven and/or enterprise environment

• Experience with any Enterprise DBMS systems like Teradata, Oracle, DB2, MySQL, etc.

• Strong working knowledge of Storage, Networking & Fiber Channel Protocols, Devices, Theories and Field Concepts

• Experience running backup applications such as NetBackup, Tivoli, and NetVault

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic team environment
