[Outsource:59174] Need Oracle-.NET consultant - Topeka, KS - 3 Months

Position: Oracle-.NET consultant

Location: Topeka, KS

Duration: 3 Months

 

The current .NET application is experiencing unacceptable response delays due volume of data  and the consultant should address the performance issues through effectively restructure the code and adding indexes to maximize the performance.  The proposed changes by the consultant should provide below mentioned acceptable response times.

 

1.        Less than 1 second during Peak time entry period for Completing ordinary windows operations; i.e.  Closing windows, displaying hour glass.

2.       Less than 5 seconds for accepting, processing, user input and returning data requested from the server.

 

Application Environment:  Windows 7, Win Server 2008, Oracle 11G, .Net 3.5

 

Application Code information:

 

Performance Tune PL/SQL, .Net code and Database indexes to provide acceptable response times (As indicated above) for the below mentioend screens:

  Activity screen (11 PL/SQL statements)

  Edit Labor Review screen (3 PL/SQL statements)

  Equipment Review screen (5 PL/SQL statements)

 

Note: Changes to application behavior and database structure are outside cope of this initiative.

 

Project Tasks & Deliverables:

 

  Analysis of code and database performance

  Modified code that meets the objective

  Code change documentation

  Activity Screen passes tests - As indicated in "Acceptable Response Time" table below

  Labor Review passes tests - As indicated in "Acceptable Response Time" table below

  Equipment Screen passes tests - As indicated in "Acceptable Response Time" table below

  Knowledge of techniques and solutions Transferred to KDOT personnel
