MUST HAVE 10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

 

Key member of team required to complete the upgrade of Oracle applications to Release 12

 

• Oracle Applications 11i/12 database support including system maintenance, patching, cloning, upgrades/installations and system administration

• Devising R12 application database upgrade plan and mentoring/training other DBA's in R12

• Develop and implement the technical procedures and standards for preserving the integrity and security of Oracle and SQL Server databases

• Establish, coordinate, and maintain databases and database environments for testing, production, training, and user demonstration

• Monitor and optimize the performance of Oracle Applications and the database as a unit

• Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for all database systems

• Establish disaster recovery architecture for supported databases and conducts disaster recovery tests

• Administer complex database architectures of Oracle 10g/11g

• Participate in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance audits as they pertain to database controls

• Develops an accurate capacity plan based on resources available on the system

• Develops innovative ideas for project teams facing database issues
