SQL Developers
Location: Eden Prairie, MN
Duration: Six months
SQL Developer:
Looking for 8 to 10+ years of experience. Must be proficient in SQL coding and in writing scripts not just SSIS or SSRS experience.
Additional info is below:
3+ Years experience writing T-SQL stored procedures
3+ Years experience writing T-SQL stored procedures
Required:
§ Sql Server 2005 and 2005-specific syntax features; Familiarity with Sql Server Management Studio
§ Sql Server 2008 with exposure to 2008-specific features; familiarity with Visual Studio 2010 Sql Projects
§ Experience designing tables, views and indexes
§ Demonstrated experience designing optimal data models for arbitrary data sets
§ Ability to communicate database design models using UML, Logical Data Structures or other visual techniques
§ Experience transforming business requirements into a data model
§ Understands normalization and de-normalization and when each is appropriate
§ Experience designing covering and non-covering indexes, with knowledge when to apply each
§ Experience with performance optimizations, ability to read and understand T-SQL Query plans
§ Familiar with the Sql Server Profiler; tuning queries for optimial performance
§ Hands-on experience identifying and resolving deadlocks within SQL
§ Experience upgrading/transforming data between data models
§ Hands-on experience with very large data sets (10s of millions of records)
§ Experience upgrading/transforming datasets with millions of records between data models
§ Experience with automated unit testing methods for stored procedures
§ Able to work independently or with a team
§ Capable of communicating with small or large teams verbally and written
