1. Role: Teradata Developer
Location: Orange CA
Duration: 2-3 years
Required:
· Teradata Consultant with Strong 5-7 years' experience as Developer with following skills
· Expert level work experience in a Teradata environment using TD12
· Expert level working experience using Teradata Utilities (BTEQ, Fast Load, MultiLoad, FastExport, TPump)
· Expert level experience using Teradata Tools (SQL Assistant, PMON, Teradata Administrator)
· Expert level performance tuning on Teradata
· Expert level knowledge of Teradata BTEQ scripts to implement business logic
· Experience on large multi terabytes data warehouses
· Expert level SQL skills
· Excellent communication skills.
2. Role: Teradata Architect
Location : Orange, CA
Duration: 18 months
Required:
· Teradata Architect with extensive experience In Data Modeling
· Technical Teradata Architect to provide thought leadership in support of Implementing Teradata as the analytics foundation for a strategic project.
· Must have leadership and strong communication skills to influence architecture and design decisions.
· Strong Teradata experience required including Best Practices for design and implementation
· Design, Development, and Tuning of High Performance Teradata Virtual Data Marts.
· Strong Knowledge of Teradata DB Platform: Architecture and Concepts, Physical Database Design.
· Strong Experience with Teradata Technology: SQL Programming, Data Load/Extraction Utilities, Stored Procedures and Functions.
· Must be proficient in the full suite of Teradata tools including PMON, TASM, Teradata Manager.
· Advanced level Teradata SQL skills: Query performance monitoring, Query resource using monitoring, Analysis of execution plans. Baseline benchmark testing, Optimization of SQL statements, indexing: primary, secondary, partitioned primary indices join indices, aggregate join indices, sparse indices, Partitioning strategies, Joins optimization.
