With Our Client located in Bloomfield, CT is looking for a Citrix Engineer to work for a 6 weeks with high probability of going 3-6 months longer.

 

Job Description:

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·                     Must have a solid foundation in Citrix XenApp 5.x and XenDesktop from initial installation through all troubleshooting in a multiple production server Windows 2003 or 2008 environments.

·                     Working knowledge of Citrix Access Gateways, and working knowledge of network configuration, firewalls rules, policies, and network routing.

·                     Solid working knowledge of the Windows Operating System, including but not limited to Windows Server 2003, and 2008.

·                     Must have a working knowledge of various Hyper Visors, Hyper V, VMWare ESX, VUE

·                     Must have experience designing, deploying and supporting large scale Citrix environments, and experience with designing, developing, supporting multiple Citrix farms, and supporting 100+ published applications

·                     Working knowledge of routed and routing protocols, network topologies, and technical flow and impact of Citrix traffic throughout a network over a WAN.

·                     Experience with Citrix Access Gateway would be a plus.

·                     Experience with Netscaler would be a plus.

·                     Must be a highly articulate person with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·                     Experience with user profile management in a terminal server environment would be a plus.

·                     Experience with monitoring and performance analysis using SCOM/Citrix Edgesight would be a plus.

·                     Experience with Disaster Recovery solutions in regards to Citrix would be a plus.

 

REQUIREMENTS
o Citrix Certified Administrator XenApp 6.5 and or Xendesktop 5.5 (CCA 4/5)
o Vmware vSphere 4.x or 5.0 certification is a + (VCP 4/5)
o Microsoft Certified Professional (preferred)
o MCITP/MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Applications Infrastructure Configuration (preferred)
