RESPONSIBILIITES
· The role requires a software developer based in the New Jersey office for a 6 month assignment.
· Work will include both global and local projects with full life-cycle involvement from analysis and design through to implementation and support.
· Good teamwork & communication skills are essential.
Our systems are developed and deployed globally using a number of technologies primarily - Java, C#, C++ & Sybase.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain and support existing production systems directly with the business users.
· To work closely with operations to establish requirements.
· Work as part of the Global IT team.
· Work on development of global strategic projects and regional specific tools.
· Build & maintain strong relationships with business users and other technology teams
· Understand the key drivers of the business and the products traded
MANDATORY
· 8+ years' experience in business facing IT role.
· Sybase/SQL experience critical.
· Experience with C++ and/or Java language is essential.
· Experience with C# is desirable.
· Experience in Financial Trading is essential
Title: Application Developer Java
Location: Jersey City NJ
Duration: 6+ months

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
· We expect the successful candidate to have a proven track record of delivering server side applications using Java technologies in a service oriented architecture.
· The candidate will get to work with new and recent Java technologies and web standards, such as Spring, Hibernate and HTML5.
· Knowledge of investment research and finance are not essential but experience in either of these areas would obviously provide a candidate with an advantage.
MANDATORY
· Strong Core Java and SQL skills
· Experience shipping robust, well tested applications using common build, test, and deployment tools: ant/maven, JUnit, CVS/Subversion.
· Comfortable in a Linux based environment, familiar with application servers such as Tomcat, jBoss or Jetty.
· HTML/Javascript/CSS
· Experience working with Spring and Hibernate.
· Experience working with XSLT, and a templating language such as Velocity
· Experience with an MVC framework such as Stripes, Struts, Spring MVC, or similar.
· Experience working with testing/mocking frameworks, JUnit, Mockito.
· Experience working with HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery
· Experience with Java application servers: JBoss and Tomcat
· Knowledge of JMS, JMX, SOA, REST.
· Knowledge of common network and server protocols HTTP, SMTP, FTP, DNS
· Experience with Objective-C development, Apple IOS SDK.
Title: C#/.Net Developer (Senior Level)
Location: Midtown NYC
Duration: 6+ months
Rate: DOE
Key words: C# .net4.0 Equity XCELCIUS BO XML
Skills & Experience required for this position:
· Candidate should be well versed in C#/.Net (4.0 preferred),
· 8 plus years experience.
· Candidate must also have a strong background with SQL (Oracle 10g and 11g), 2 plus years' experience.
· Industry experience is a must (risk/finance environment preferred).
· Excellent written & verbal communication skills is a must
· Experience in designing and implementing Dashboards
· Ability to work successfully as part of a team and as an individual performer
· Flexible and hard working.
· Experience implementing Web Services
· Experience with software release/build processes (e.g., Continuous Integration, etc.)
· Experience with scheduling tools like AUTOSYS would be a plus
· Experience with Reporting tools like XCELCIUS / Business Objects would be a plus
· Experience with various XML technologies (DOM, SAX, XPATH, etc.)
