Job Description
Skill Requirements/Required
* SAP Oracle DBA expert
* SAP Netweaver 7 experience.
* Work with Basis, Applications and Security teams to support SAP ECC6, Business Warehouse and other SAP NetWeaver environments
* Create and maintain transport scripts.
* Performance trace analysis monitoring & Tuning - ECC6 and BW
* Research and apply OSS notes; validates impact in sandbox and support teams through dev, stage and production checkouts
* Support Pack - research, apply & lead checkout with Security, applications and client configuration team
* Research new releases for SAP ECC6, BW and SAP GUI
* Understanding of FTP, SFTP and other file transfer with SAP
* Problem research & resolution with both SAP and custom code.
* On call rotation for SAP environment support
* Works with application and security teams to define and estimate new solutions for client
* CTS Transport configuration and support.
* RFC communications application support and problem resolution.
* SAP system sizing analysis and recommendation for ECC 6, BW and other SAP NetWeaver environments
* ECC6 Upgrade experience
* Third party software with SAP- Basis support & technical issues (Client utilizes some third party products with SAP; i.e. ixos, vertex, ...)
* Tuning of application programs; reviewing application programs for performance; understanding applications code
* Application test support
* Review and approve hardware and software changes that impact SAP environments through Change Management System
* Experience with SAP Process Integration (PI).
* Experience with SAP System Landscape Directory (SLD) management
* Experience in SAP Lifecycle Management including SAP Archive Management and development
* Learn new technology and mentor team members
* Configuration and support of Solution Manager/ RunSAP experience
* Configuration and support SAP Process Integrator (PI) experience
* Excellent documentation and communication skills
* Initiative to learn new SAP technologies and products
* Unix experience
* Coordinate and Planning Basis team activities
* Actual Client Facing Experience - minimum 2 yrs
* PROFESSIONAL, Strong Communication skills (Verbal and written)
* Excellent at Multi-tasking
* Leadership experience (small teams acceptable)
Skill Requirements/Nice to Have
Architect experience with SAP products
! Experience or exposure to helping client develop SAP RoadMap to support business direction
! Experience supporting Workflow
! Exposure to SAP financial and/or warehouse management modules
! Willingness to help client research configuration and business transaction issues
! Experience or exposure to ECC6 Archive and BW Archive
! BW Upgrade experience
! Tuning of application programs; reviewing application programs for performance; understanding applications code
! Understanding/experience with network configuration, firewall requirements
