Quality Assurance Engineer
The ideal candidate is an experienced QA Engineer with a background in
testing broadband Mobile devices. This will be a hands-on role and the
position requires interaction with the multiple QA and Development
teams in different geographic locations. This position is in QA and
requires frequent direct customer interaction. :
* Executing existing manual and automated test cases against Micro
products * Writing / updating test cases to validate specific customer
requirements * Working closely with the customers to diagnose and
troubleshoot complex technical issues * Properly documenting all
defects * Working closely with the development teams to ensure proper
defect resolution * Experience Reading, Writing, fixing code in C++,
java, and javascript * Excellent written and verbal communications
skills. * Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance *
Ability to work independently * Excellent analytical skills * Good
understanding of the software development life cycle * Experience
creating test plans and test reports * Strong working knowledge of TCP/
IP networking * Experience testing wireless technologies and products
(3G/4G Broadband, 802.11) * Strong working knowledge of VPNs *
Experience with Spira Team and Jira a plus * Experience interfacing
with customers
