Skills:

• Should be familiar with: ASE 15 New features, System table overview,
• Installation of SYBASE ASE,IQ, Replication server. Backup and recovery
• Dump/load database, different methods of dumping transactions.
• Disaster recovery process.
• Scheduling maintenance jobs like reorg, update stats ,sysmon, create index, dbcc commands, MDA,
• Provide day-to-day database administration and on call support for PROD./UAT/DEV environment.
• Good understanding of Unix and shell scripting
• Should be good team player and have excellent communication skills
• Should be able to take ownership in terms handling critical databases in Primary DBA role

Take initiative for customer requirements timely executes deliverables , Escalation/Status updates and ensure periodic feedback on issues.
