Job Description:
The Web Project Manager/ Business Consultant opportunity consists of managing the delivery of websites from the sale process, through execution, and finally to delivery in accordance within strict deadlines and budgets. You will be involved in the selling and marketing efforts of websites as well as acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according to plan. Also, you will interact with customers and make required technology adjustments to resolve issues within customer's website and interface to client's software applications.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Present our services to potential clients and participate in various marketing efforts. Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Be able to serve as a SME for addressing both technical and business questions from the customer.
- Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Develop functional knowledge of the application from both a business and technology perspective.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Supports Web-based products and services through email support, desktop support, and telephone support.
- Interacts with customers and troubleshoots problems to provide a high level of customer satisfaction.
Desired Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, business or related field
- 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Ability to develop/manage detailed project plans
- A deep understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Understand the relationship between business procedures, workflows, and applications
- Excellent executive level communication and collaboration skills with the ability to facilitate discussions with client project team and our developers
- A functional understanding of Microsoft technologies, including .NET, Web Pages, Web Applications, SharePoint, Project and Microsoft Office Professional
