Performance Tester (expert level)
Location: St.Paul, MN
Duration: 7+ months

Job Description
This position requires knowledge and experience with Performance Testing.
The work involves following established processes and performance testing techniques to insure the company’s application and infrastructure solutions, whether purchased or built, will meet or exceed the business requirements.
The position requires knowledge of various testing techniques, including network and server performance, use of HP Performance Center and industry network test tools.
The work will require the ability to create test plans in accordance to project scope and requirements, ensure performance testing is complete and performance results, risks and/or issues are identified, estimation of work effort and self management of projects.

Required Skills and Experience
-Experience with performance, stress, capacity load and network testing

-Experience with HP Performance Center
-Ability to design, build, script and execute repeatable performance, load, capacity and scalability tests
-Ability to execute and analyze network tests for performance, capacity, latency and bandwidth effect
-Experience developing summary reports for client use
-Web/Browser based and client based architecture knowledge & understanding of concepts
-Experience with non-UI based testing methods and practices
-Experience programming languages – ‘C’
-Some experience in programming languages – JAVA, J2EE, .NET, Websphere, AJAX
-Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications
-Database experience SQL / Oracle
•Operating system experience – Windows, Linux, Unix
•Experience with HP Quality Center
•Experience with SAP Performance and Network testing
•Application development background
•Experience with Shunra tools
•Experience with Compuware tools
