Job Title    :     Sr. Java Developer
Location    :     Richmond, VA
Duration    :     12 + Months
Rate           :     Market

QUALIFICATIONS:
Over 8-10 years programming and systems analysis experience.
Demonstrated expert knowledge of life cycle through application of complex, mutli disciplinary software applications, involving complicated technology and integration points.
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills; communicate to users, technical peers, and vendors.
Ability to work as lead cross-functional team projects with minimal supervision.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science related field preferred.
Experience in design, code, and support of critical enterprise-level systems.
Experience in supporting large-scale web applications and enterprise service software.

 

Required technical skills:
Java 6, Jboss 5 or higher, JMS, JEE 5, EJB 3, Spring, SQL/Databases, Linux/Unix, MQSeries (WebsphereMQ 7), Eclipse or Eclipse-based IDE, Spring Framework.
Experience and knowledge of transactional systems.
Preferred technical skills:
Hibernate or Java Persistence API (JPA), JAX-WS web services, JAXB XML binding, Ant, web security experience such as WS-Security, Grails, Quartz Scheduler, JSON, ReST, Maven.
Experience with real time inventory systems.
Experience with and knowledge of retail systems.
