Position : SAP Basis
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Duration: 6 Months
Extensive Experience in Basis Administration of the latest SAP products on dual stack (ABAP & J2EE) such as SAP ECC, BW/BI, CRM, SCM, SOLMAN, EP, PI, GTS, SRM
· End to End Java Stack Administration, monitoring and troubleshooting experience
· Must be conversant working with Operating Systems & DBs such as Unix, Solaris, Windows, Oracle, MS SQL Server
· Experience in full life cycle SAP Implementations and SAP Version Upgrades
· Extensive experience in Kernel Upgrade, SP Upgrade, SAP Notes application
· Extensive experience in Installation / Implementation of SAP Add-ons/Bolt-ons
· Daily Basis Administration Tasks including Support of issues at Low/Medium/High complex in nature.
· Must be able to perform SAP End to End root cause analysis
· Work in Co-ordination with the various teams ( Functional, Project Teams and Business) for Issue resolution and understanding the new requirements/changes happening in the landscape
· Performance management and tuning of SAP Instances including OS and DB level parameters.
· Analyze EWA reports and provide recommendations to remediate discrepancies.
· Plan, Implement and Maintain housekeeping Jobs/activities.
· Experience with SAP Archiving Projects.
· Participate in Project Planning, Capacity planning, Maintenance planning and provide recommendations.
· Experience in Support other non-SAP product such as CyberSafe, Mark View, Sabrix etc.
Other Skills needed
· Familiarity and working knowledge with ITIL framework such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management and Release Management Processes.
· Familiarity and working with regulatory/complance requirements such as SOX, BS7799,
· Co-ordination abilities in a multi-vendor environment eg SAP, Infra teams, 3rd Party Application teams
· Should be able to support a 24x7 basis and provide On-call Support on a rotation basis.
· SAP Certification will be an advantage
· Experience in MS SQL Server and Oracle database administration will be an added advantage
· SAP OS/DB migration experience will be an added advantage
