Position: Sr. C# .Net Developer

Location: HOUSTON TX or CHICAGO IL

Duration: 6 Months

 

Job Description:

Degree in a Technology discipline. 5+ years of experience in design, development and implementation of large-scale critical projects. Ability to support for complex real-time and high-availability systems. The Developer is responsible for leading the design, development, testing, debugging, maintaining and documenting software components in accordance to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices. Certifications in SQL Server and / or Oracle is a plus. Must have experience with object-oriented design using systems, databases and C# to develop software applications with the .NET framework. Must have experience working on large complex projects with tight deadlines. Must be a quick learner and self-sufficient. Good communications skills is required. Must be able to interact with users and technical team members.

Other Skills: Good understanding of Wifi environments and automated Wifi configuration of mobile devices. Comfortable in C# debugging environment using cradled handheld devices. Able to work with a complex Visual Basic version 6 program that interacts with host systems. Strong technical and problem-solving skills, proactive attitude. Ability to engage internal/external resources. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skill: .NET, C#, SQL Server, Oracle, Embedded CE5.0, Subversion, Visual Studio .NET, OOP, Events, Subclassing, 1-2 years experience working on C# programs running on handheld devices using CE or Windows Mobile OS (Symbol/Motorola/Psion devices would be a plus)

Offshore/Onsite: Onsite

Years of Experience: 7 Yrs of relevant experience
