· Bring strong creative, conceptual and problem-solving skills to translate conceptual ideas (business needs and user goals) into interaction design solutions. • Assess data from multiple sources (product requirements, tech constraints, UX research, web analytics, industry trends…) and synthesize it in order to develop efficient user scenarios, taxonomies, classification schemes, navigation systems, design patterns, etc. • Create and effectively present UX deliverables (wireframes, workflows, prototypes, etc.) to explain and negotiate design solutions to key stakeholders.
· Develop UX/IA documentation such as site outlines, process flows, sketches, scenarios, personas, wireframes, and navigation models for web, desktop, and mobile applications to define functionality and user behavior • Expert-level user experience skills with hands-on experience building wireframes and mock-ups • Brainstorm and collaborate with Business Owners, Product Managers, UX Visual Designers, Developers, end users, and other stakeholders to determine user interface needs • Partner with our Prototyping and Development Team to ensure technical feasibility and flawless implementation • Provide options based on technical and time constraints • Participate in projects from the design phase through final testing and QA • Review applications throughout the development lifecycle to ensure integrity of information architecture and usability guidelines • Maintain expert knowledge about emerging user interface / interaction design standards and best practices • Evaluate the competitive landscape and research UI trends in financial services.
· 5 to 7 years experience as an Information Architect, Interaction Designer, User experienced Designer, or similar role • Ability to cut through ambiguity and desire to organize it • A passion for being the voice of the user, proven track-record building user centric solutions • Knowledge of best practices for web and mobile information architecture and design • Strong verbal and visual communication, written communication and interpersonal skills • Top-notch presentation skills. • Strong ability to manage your time and workload independently • Ability to work successfully as part of an Inter-disciplinary Team including Writers, Graphic Designers, Prototypers, Project Managers, Software Developers, and Quality Assurance staff • Possess demonstrated ability to produce detailed wireframes, site outlines, process flows, and navigation models in a thorough, clean, and concise way using industry standard tools (Axure, Visio, OmniGraffle, InDesign, or similar) • An online portfolio is a must • Must possess proven ability to develop user interfaces for complex transactional applications • Must possess in-depth knowledge of GUI prototyping tools and experience in rapid prototyping and iterative design using these tools
· A Bachelor's Degree in Human Factors, Interaction, Graphic or Interface design. Experience designing for the social web, design patterns, rich internet applications and delivery methodologies.
