Job Title: Java Lead Developer

Location: Century City, CA

Duration: 6 Months+

Skills:

•             Well versed in J2EE solutions and comfortable coding in these environments

•             Expert understanding of SDLC from design through production implementation (Agile and Waterfall)

•             Understanding of build cycles, enhancement and production operations of the digital asset management system

•             Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to deal effectively with diverse skill sets and personalities, works effectively as a team player.

•             Organized with an ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and utilize time effectively

•             Must have the ability to transform business and functional requirements into technical solutions

•             Experience supporting a high-availability environment, nearly 24/7 operation

•             Experience with application and web servers (Jboss / Weblogic etc) a plus

•             Basic knowledge of UNIX

•             Oracle database development – Good DB knowledge

•             HTML/CSS/JavaScript/AJAX is preferred

•             Good understanding and experience using web services

Desired Characteristics

•             SOA and DAM expertise is a plus

•             Data management expertise is a plus

•             HTML/CSS/JavaScript/AJAX is preferred

•             Experience with service-oriented architectures a plus
