Programmer is responsible for maintenance (including production support), enhancement and development work.  Specific projects anticipated are to implement an installation process and refreshment process for the existing MACWIS system.  We hope to also install Terminal Services.  Other work is expected to be assigned.  Required knowledge is C#.net, Power Builder 12.1 and PL SQL.  Programmer will work with Manager and Systems Analysts performing the assigned work. Programmer may become involved with nightly scheduling.

Years of Relevant Experience: 4 plus years

Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study with advanced study preferred.

 
Role Description:

All roles specified in PR3 plus the following:
•Reviews code, recommends changes for review, usually in the form of technical specifications
•Writes code from technical specifications
•Tests all work performed, advises test team as to what tests are recommended
•Confers with other business and technical personnel to resolve problems of intent, inaccuracy, or feasibility of computer processing.
•Works with necessary personnel to determine if modifications are necessary with interested personnel to determine necessity for modifications or enhancements.
•Leverages excellent written and verbal communication skills to develop new business process and programming solutions as directed by business and technical stakeholders.
•May coordinate activities of computer programmers.
