Position: BODI Architect
Location: IN
Duration: 6-12 months
Required Skills:
--Minimum 5 years of experience implementing ETL processes in Business Objects Data integrator/Data Services
--Minimum 10 years experience with data migration/integration projects and/or data warehouse projects.
--Must have experience in defining and implementing best practice approach for software development
--Proven experience on ETL design & architecture
--Must have exceptional documentation skills
--Must have exceptional data analysis skills
--Must demonstrate the ability to influence and direct the implementation of ETL processes
Job/Project Description:
This is an opportunity for an experienced Business Objects Architect to lead the implementation of ETL processes for design and software development for a brand new project initiative for a solid Indianapolis organization. This Architect will work with key stakeholders and IT groups to define the ETL design and architecture for the integration of key organizational systems. If you are of an analytical mind and enjoy leading and solving problems, then this is the role for you.
Additional Information and duties:
--Responsible for the design, development, and support of ETL processes using Business Objects Data Services/Data Integrator.
--Proven experience influencing and directing the implementation of ETL processes
--Design data warehouse solutions to support business requirements
--Create and maintain technical design documentation to support the implementation of the projects
--Collaborate with team members throughout the SDLC to perform design reviews, data reviews, issues resolution; and assure the successful delivery of applications
--Analyze data sources and target data models
--Assist in data modeling and design for data marts and data warehouses
--Responsible for understanding source system database structures and underlying data by performing source system data profiling including structure, data, and relationship discovery
--Identify data quality issues
--Consolidate, integrate, and deliver data for warehouse solutions
--Create and execute ETL job schedules
--Optimize ETL jobs
