Position: Sr Business System Analyst with SharePoint

Location: Los angeles, CA

Duration: long term

Responsibilities

 

• Collects detailed user and technical requirements. Works with others to analyze collected requirements, translate into programming solutions in SharePoint, and ensures that identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations.
• Take responsibility for creation of the SharePoint solutions/components.
• Create wireframes to communicate requirements and visual solutions
• Test, track and report issues throughout the application development lifecycle.
• Work closely with both on-site and offshore developers to resolve problems.
• Perform analysis of reported production problems, determine impact and priority; and recommend corrective actions.

·         Contribute/create to user guides, reference manuals/ training materials as appropriate.

·         Ability to work with teams across the globe, with the offshore development team and end user community.

• Experience working in SharePoint version 2008 and above strongly required.
• Financial/ Real Estate industry experience preferred.
• Experience writing application documentation and training manuals.
• Experience creating business requirements and design documentation.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytic skills and ability to learn new concepts quickly and independently.
• Understanding of relational database concepts and SQL scripting/queries.
• Some previous software application project leadership experience required.
• Process modeling and documentation experience.
• Experience working with SharePoint as frontend to OpenText Document Management (Livelink/Content Server)
