Technology Performance Manager

Leading Performance Tuning

Oracle PL/SQL, Performance/ Scalability Tuning

Database Administration, Knowledge of XML

Experience designing or working directly with high availability strategies with respect to enterprise application/ system

Collection/ Analysis of service data metrics as part of IS/ business service reviews

Collaboration with business/ technical SMEs and architects to document business process, system flow and value stream mapping

Detail non functional requirements ( monitoring, performance) as part of project cycle

Should know Oracle architecture of 10G and 11i

Should have worked on application tuning,  (Different Alternative solutions to improve performance / scalability of application, Execution plans, Automatic Performance Diagnostics and Query tuning).

Should have worked on Instance Tuning. should have fair knowledge of optimizing instance performance and configuring database parameters

Should have worked system scalability testing, performance testing and tuning.

Should have sound knowledge of application design principles

should have worked on Data partitioning.

Experience in collection & analyzing data

Experience in application support/ production support

-              Well versed with all tiers of technology, e,g, persistence, business logic, webservices,  workflow, UI.

-              Well versed with performance profiling and analysis tools at various technology layers

-              Well versed with Java/J2EE/XML/Oracle/SQLServer and DB2 platforms

-              Thorough experience of J2EE servers like Websphere/Jboss/tomcat  .

-              Should have independently designed and run large scale performance tests.

-              Should be capable of quickly identifying technical issues causing performance issues and design and implement the solutions for the same

-              Should be capable of taking tactical as well as strategic decisions for performance problems resolution

 

Active involvement in designing, running and monitoring performance tests required.
