Job Title: Teradata Developer
Location: Cupertino, CA
Duration: 6 Months+
Skills:

·         Five or more years' experience

·         Extensively used Teradata Utilities BTEQ, FastExport, FastLoad, MultiLoad, Tpump, SQL Assistant/QueryMan, Performance Monitor etc.

·         Familiar with Query Analysis Tools like Database Query Management (DBQM), Database Query Log (DBQL), Index Wizard, Statistics Wizard and Teradata Visual Explain Utility.

·         Experience in automating ETL processes and scheduling batch jobs using Unix Shell script.

·         Experience in Teradata Database Administration including Teradata manager/ Viewpoint set up, priority scheduling, physical modeling, database clean up, space management and system upgrades etc.

·         Experience in Backup & Recovery, System Performance Monitoring using PMON, SQL tuning and scheduling custom alerts; Involved in Teradata hardware & software upgrades (Patch, Version etc)
