Role & Responsibility:

Provide Database Administration support for very large databases in a Teradata environment. The ideal candidate will have a very well rounded understanding of the complete Teradata environment.

 * Strong experience in Designing, creating, and maintenance of database objects

* Defining DDL Standards and guidelines and process documents that balance Business delivery time.

* Strong in Physical database design

* Development of proactive processes for monitoring capacity and performance

* Perform system level and application level tuning

* Support application teams related to database application development

* Knowledgeable in UNIX shell scripting

* Strong in writing Complex cost-efficient Teradata SQL

* Adhere to Organization's standards & best practices

* Excellent communication, organizational, and personal skills

* Works well in a team environment

* Database performance tuning knowledge and skills
