Client Looking a Data Analyst with Statistical background
Job description:
• Degree in mathematics, statistics, business, or related field required
• Two years' experience in at least one of the following fields: statistics, research, business, or economics.
• Expertise using Excel, SQL or other relational databases.
• Strong analytical skills, natural curiosity and problem solving ability.
• Knowledge of data collection and research methodologies.
• Demonstrated success and effectiveness working in a time-critical production environment.
• Aptitude to detect, troubleshoot, and foresee anomalies
• Outstanding organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills, with great attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as a team member intra- and inter-departmentally.
• Experience with statistical software
• Ability to autonomously manage simultaneous projects in a fast paced business environment.
• Experience in data analysis and problem solving with big data.
• Ability to think creatively and solve complex problems.
• Detects, troubleshoots and participates/leads resolution of data or system anomalies
• Documents processes/procedures for departmental use as well as identifies and leads enhancements.
• Generates high-level statistical analyses that utilize regression analysis, correlations, and other types of statistical modeling.
• Analyze multi-sourced datasets to identify opportunity and develop solutions to various problems
• Work with stakeholders to define technical requirements, goals, and deliverables that support the business goals
