Job Title: Data Architect

Start Date: 1/28/2013

End Date: 6/28/2013

Location: Jersey City, NJ, US

Max Hourly Rate: USD $70.00

 

Qualifications:

Position Functions or Responsibilities:
This person will participate in the feasibility Study for DWH Redesign. The main goal of the project is to replatform mainframe DB2 to Unix. The bank also wants to enhance BI layer and address infrastrcture gaps to support the new data environment.

The projects consist of the 3 work areas.
1. Looking at Mainframe codes for ETL and rewrite the spec to develop those for Informatica mapping/workflow
2. From the infrastructure capacity views, come up with the clustering techniques to create the most calible infrastructure architecture. The bank is migrating to BOBJ 4.0. Redesigning the existing data mart.
3. Redesign BI Reports on the mainframe for Unix. BOBJ is in the legacy environment. OBIEE is in the new environment. No buinsess requirements for new report.


Data Architect 
a.  10 years experiences in Data Architecture, Datawarehouse, Data Modeling, Infrastructure of ETL/BI
b.  Data modeling is a must. Informatica knowledge is a must. BOBJ knowledge is preferrable but not a must

BI Architect Requirements
a.  Strong experience with BOBJ universe framework design
b.  Knowledge of Access layer
c.  Infra clustreing, infrastructure architecture, data layer for the BOBJ universe framework
d.  To be able to tell how the report is efficiently created, what are the security model can be implemented for easy maintenance and tax purposes
