Status: CITRIX Administrator
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Long Island City, NY and NYC | NY
1. Incident management
o Acknowledgement of tickets through the Remedy/ Service-Now Tool
o Investigation and identification of Fix
o Resolution of incident tickets
2. Problem Management
o Perform RCA analysis for repetitive issues (When the issues are more repeated more than 4 times in a month)
o Resolution of problem tickets assigned to the Support team.
3. Change/ Release implementation
o Change/ release implementation as per documented procedures
o Change tickets are handled through Remedy Database.
4. 24x7 support of the environment
5. Patch deployments and server maintenance
6. Installation of applications on Citrix servers
7. Installation of Citrix
8. Managing Citrix core infrastructure including Web, app, SQL and Citrix servers
9. Maintain Citrix Datastore, license servers, and Zone Data Collectors
10. Respond and resolve to monitoring alerts escalated to the team
11. Support Client application applications installed on Citrix
12. Migration of Citrix from old farms to new farms
13. Support for setting up Citrix connectivity from new vendors or locations within MetLife
14. Support for other core Citrix Components like Gateway and Edgesight (as needed)
15. Support for engineering efforts in Citrix projects, associated Windows infrastructure and front end applications that need to be hosted in Citrix and develop runbook/Documentation.
Skill required Citrix Engineering Support team:
1) Advanced knowledge of Citrix and Citrix Administration - Certification preferred
2) Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems including: 2008, 2008 R2, and 2003.
3) Knowledge of application deployment and general knowledge of application troubleshooting.
4) Knowledge of AppSense and profiling
5) Proper communication & Coordination skills with customers
